The theme for IWD 2026 is Balance the Scales.

This theme draws attention to the urgent need for a justice system that is fair, inclusive, and accessible to all women and girls.  It highlights ongoing barriers such as low conviction rates in sexual assault cases, systemic discrimination, and challenges faced by First Nations women, including overrepresentation in the justice system and limited access to culturally safe legal support. Balance the Scales reminds us that equality is not about advantage for some - it is about dignity, safety, and fairness for all.

POLICIES

Full payment is required upon booking for all Treatments.

10% WEEKEND SURCHARGE APPLIES

We request that all clients arrive 15 minutes early to allow enough time for parking and to relax and enjoy herbal tea in our lounge before treatment commences.

Late arrival will result in the treatment time being cut back and full price of the original treatment will be charged.

For privacy and relaxation purposes, we are a quiet space which means no phone use before or during treatments. Phones must be switched off or put on silent before entering our oasis.

This is a tranquil space, and therapists may cease treatment at any time if their disruptions to other guests treatments or safety concerns in the treatment room.

If you require a carer or assistance, in this case, we encourage they come along.

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. Expiry is written on each voucher and cannot be redeemed past the expiry date.

Refunds or exchange for cash are not available for gift vouchers.

24 hours’ notice must be given for cancellations and changes to appointments. A late cancellation fee of 100% will be charged if a cancellation occurs within 24 hours before your appointment.

Failure to show up for your appointment will result in a no-show fee charge of 100% of your appointment cost.

When booking, regardless of online or over the phone, full payment must be taken. Refunds are not available and if your appointment needs to be rescheduled,

we will keep the payment as a credit on your file valid for 12 months.

Our Team are highly trained and continue extra training and education to ensure you are receiving the best care and experience. If our Team deem that we are unable to provide your service as it will not be safe,

a credit for your next treatment will be applied to your account. Our Team are unable to provide facial treatments if you have had cosmetic injectables in the past 2 weeks,

if you currently use prescription retinols/vitamin A products such as Roaccutane or tretinoin or have an active infection / cold (including cold sores).
